Our Mission
Our mission is to offer curated cultural, historical, martial, spiritual, gastronomical and handicraft packages that provide tourists from around the world with immersive experiences. These experiences allow travellers to explore and connect with the dynamic Indian cultural mosaic fostering a deeper appreciation for the country’s unique heritage.
By integrating heritage with tourism, local communities can share their unique customs, craft forms, festivals, and oral traditions, creating awareness while generating economic support for their continuation. Visitors, in turn, will experience the richness of India’s past through authentic interactions, performances, and storytelling, breathing new life into fading practices.
Our Story
Folk Experience LLP is an IIM Jammu-incubated startup dedicated to preserving and celebrating the vibrant cultural heritage of India.
Founded with a passion for safeguarding the rich traditions and folklore of India, we aim to bring these treasures closer to the global audience. With qualitative research and responsible planning, the company aims to foster appreciation and protect India’s intangible heritage, ensuring its transmission to future generations while also supporting the livelihoods of those who uphold it.

To preserve and disseminate the folklore of India, we are actively engaged in creating:
- 2D Animations: Bringing Indian folklore to life through visually captivating storytelling. This will generate awareness among the budding generation towards their rich heritage India has.
- Vlogs and Blogs: Sharing authentic cultural stories, traditions, and experiences through video and print mediums to reach a wider audience. This will be of great value to Academia as a repository for the literature review to pursue qualitative research.
- The company is dedicated to promoting rural/cultural/experiential tourism thereby supporting the local artists, artisans and storytellers.
