Mela Patt (Bhaderwahi)
Jhiri Mela is one of the most famous and historic fairs of Jammu, held every year in the month of November (on Kartik Purnima). The fair takes place at Jhiri village, about 20 km from Jammu city, and is dedicated to the memory of Baba Jittoo, a legendary farmer saint known for his fight against injustice and exploitation of farmers.
